Black hole in wifes wardrobe?

08/28/2008 8:00 AM

At least once every week I discover empty clothes stores bags (increasingly made from re-cycled paper I must admit) on the floor of our bedroom, but with no sign of the contents.

Occasionaly I notice (honestly) that my wife is wearing something that I have not noticed before, although its usually after she has asked me a question such as "does my b*m look big in this?"

But I am intriqued as to actually where all the shopping bag contents actually go. I have to admit that occasionally she has a clear out, when "that old thing" (which I have never seen her wearing, or does not look very old to me) goes in a black bag for the charity shops. However, the size of her wardrobe has remained the same volume for the 14 years we have lived in our current house, so the constant additional items should have overwhelmed the alloted space.

My only conclusion is that there must be black hole in her wardrobe.

I would be interested to find out if my wifes wardrobe black hole is the only one in the solar system and may be life (style) threatening?

Parameters for a match vary. I go by thickness and sometimes holes.

While the panel is off, it's worth giving the thing a quick hoover ; the build up of lint can be a fire hazard.

A quick Hoover? As in J Edgar? You realize, don't you, that the FBI is probably online taking notes. Given their penchant for forensic fiction I think it would be-hoover them to analyze aforementioned lint in the interests of national security (aka their own job security in protecting instrumental congressional interests).

Our own rcmp unfortunately has stripes developing in the lint and are only interested in their pension fund not disappearing...as opposed to socks.

totally off topic........

There probably a Fed inside the dryer ! According to a documentary I saw last night, J Edgar like to cross-dress. He must have just lost a sock and slipped some stockings on. Whenever I hear mention of RCMP I just can't get that Python sketch out of my head.

Yeah...Canada owes much of it's twisted sense of humour to the rcmp and the Dudley Doright stigma.

I remember that Python sketch.........the Lumberjack song! Didn't exactly fit in with the impression of the tough and hetero Canadian bushman.....as in "Always get their man".......it was priceless!
