Use of Acronyms...

06/08/2011 9:03 AM

Often times perfectly good question are rendered completely unintelligible by the use of acronyms.

This is an international forum! Acronyms used in one geographic region often mean squat to readers in other locations of the world.

If you want a valid response to a question, please ensure that the first time you use an acronym, explain what the acronym refers to. Otherwise... a well known and understood rule of valuation systems applies... "Garbage in = Garbage Out".

Well, his wife Squattin' Heifer says "It's all chicken but the bill! "

I also am Indian, but the Native American type.

Sunny side up is cooked on one side only, and never turned in the pan.

Over easy is turned over, but briefly,on the top side, the center is still very liquid and soft.

Every grill has it's shorthand for orders.I was sitting in grill in Arkansas one day, and the guy at the next table ordered 2 over easy eggs on toast.

"Adam and Eve on a raft!" the waitress yelled to the cook.

Then the man called her back over, and changed his mind.He wanted scrambled eggs on toast instead.

"Wreck 'em!!" she shouted to the cook.

I nearly choked on my coffee.
