Apple recently released additional details about the Apple watch, which will be released on April 24.
The new information included:
- Case materials - aluminum, stainless steel, or 18-karat gold
- Band materials - sport, leather, or metal
- Communication between the Apple watch and the iPhone
- Expected battery life of 18 hours
I'm not very excited about it. I love my Citizen Eco-Drive watch which relies on light for charging, and never needs a battery. And I'm happy to use my phone for notifications. I don't need a vibration on my wrist to let me know I have a new message or a meeting coming up. It seems like the Apple watch takes us farther away from the ability to unplug.
Will there be an Apple watch on your wrist in the future?
