OK a guess. Pedal relief valve for a pneumatic jack up in a iron ore mine (shaft?). Its a pretty old mine but they introduced internet unless the red cable is something more explosive. Is that chain loose? Goes down a fair bit at that side.

It is clearly well used and dirty. I guess you'll want more than that.

It is suspended in the air. However, looking at the size of the blue glove in the corner I don't believe this is very high in the air, only a few meters at most. Only a few things that come to my mind. This maybe a job specific fastener (PEM nut) attachment or drilling machine for a five to six cm diameter pipe. It could also be a transducer to pulse or listen to what is flowing through the pipe.

Well at least that's my wild guess.

Hydraulic-oil cylinder, powered by workshop compressed air, pulling massive chains. Could be part of a car frame machine, used to pull and align (?) crash damaged frames. S.M.

My guess is a hydraulic Porta-Power connected to an air over oil pump. With some type of pipe clamping attachment. Which is holding a pipe cutter in position.

Looks to me like a "Hot Tap" with a transducer installed at the base of the riser pipe...

Beats me what it is measuring, but could possibly be it's reading temperature of a fluid. Obviously, it's not measuring a flow rate because it's too close to the elbow.

Definitely an air over hydraulic porta-power unit. Hmm, a foot control means you are working with your hands. There is a yellow body putty spreader nearby. And is that the head of a large hammer/maul? I'm guessing an attachment for an auto frame realignment system at a body shop.

It's part of a wheel alignment machine. The cabled device reads camber and caster.

It looks to me like a hydraulic ram clamping a machine table(left) to a vertical post, obviously with significant force, looking a the retaining chains, ...... but for what purpose...? There appears to be a wedge resting on the table ..... and the control appears to be foot operated .... I'd like to see more!
