How to develop A fabricated pipe bend

05/12/2008 3:01 AM

Dear all

I want to know that on what basis we can calculate development of fabricated bend (90/135 degree) into straight length in terms of pipe length. Bend must be fabricated by pipe it self.

If understood correctly you want to make a bend using a piece of pipe.

First you need to decide on the radius and centre to flange dimension.

Then you need to decide on the number of segments.

Please give an indication of dimensions.
