"New" rapid unloading facility hits a snag!

Reporters indicate that the first trial of the "rapid unload" method has been less of a success than first hoped. There are some good points to come from this experiment. "We have confirmed that the prototype ship has maintained its structure and re-floating attempts are certain to be succesful." Said Mr Bogus Fink of the RU delivery company.

"The down side is that the consignment of absorbent disposable diapers that was to be delivered to the Gulf oil spill will now need to be dried before they can be used." said another company spokesman.

All in all it's been a relative success and we will try again.

Due to the cost cutting of Defence expendature, The Containers used for Air combat training will all be located in 1 place, and not scattered across the 10,000 sq mile area of ocean as they used to be.

This saves fuel, wear & tear on engine parts, also the skill level of our pilots can be lowered

In grade school Peter was alway the prankster. On bus rides he would have the students rush from one side of the bus, then to the other side, and back again. Trying to roll the bus.

Little did he realize what leadership qualities and the following he had, when on a class field trip, he tried this on a boat.

This message from the US Coast Guard, near the Deepwater Horizon site:

"Unknown admixtures in the waters of the Gulf of Mexico near the Deepwater Horizon wellsite are having an undesirable effect on seagoing vessels. Several large craft are reporting an "Unscheduled Longitudinal Rotation". This rotation, reportedly as severe as 700 and usually to port, manifests itself without warning. All vessels are strongly urged to secure all load and gear when near these waters."

End of message.

radioman: <racing into wheelhouse> Lieutenant Hazelwood. Urgent message for your attention.

hazelwood: <reads message> No need to alert the Master, I know just what to do.

all in wheelhouse: <collective groan>

There once was a captain named Ben,

Who loaded his ship from his den.

When the ship tipped over,

He loaded it over,

But it tipped right over again.

It was fortunate that most of the containers were watertight and that they were able to salvage the Topsy-Turvy Tomato Planters and the Upsidaisium ore.
