Looks like an image from one of my dreams after a pepperroni pizza 'fore passing out last Saturday night or Sunday morning. Oh, wait, I didn't pass out or have a pizza that night either.

Let me check on something in the back room and I'll get back to you.

See there woman, always sneering at engineers. I told you those old bits and pieces would come in handy one day.

Re: Caption This for 01/28/11

This looks like an upgrade to the coffee maker I created 30+ years ago with a timer, 2 electric heaters, a flower pot, a brass valve set to drip, a funnel, closet hanger rods, 2 closet hangers bent to hold the funnel, with the filter in place a metal carafe and an iron on the timer to keep the carafe warm so when I got up, coffee was ready and hot. What memories seeing this brings. I did upgrade to a new timer set up using a Red Lion controller, relay and frequency counter that counted pulses. 6308 Pulses = 6AM if turned on at the right time before bed. This replaced the simple timer, just because I could. Still kept the iron on high. Thank God for duplexes! That I did not have to make. Although it probably should have been in a box, spegitti mess on the counter of diferent color wires. I never took a pic of this. It really was a work of art. (In my mind) Brings back many good memories

I wander how your bad memories would look like .

I re-invented the wheel myself sometimes too.

This is a somewhat common site at my house.

The dog wanted out , but could no longer wait for us to get to the door. Now we are drying out the carpet before it soaks through to the hardwood floor below.

Any body up for frisbee later? --- How about a salad?

Iron Man Water Test

A rug-ged, shoe string illustration showing the underlying iron content of pot able water.

Before you attempt to remove anything that appears to be iron-related, it is important to have your water tested. A complete water test will determine the extent of your iron problem and possible treatment solutions should include iron concentration, iron bacteria, and fungi associated with one shoe from an iron man event.

Reminds me of my college days. The dorms allowed coffee percolators, but not hot plates, so we heated everything in coffee pots. Chicken noodle soup was fun - watching the noodles percolate!

There once was a man from Saint Clair,

Who made coffee with a flair.

When the shoe starts to stink,

He puts on the drink,

and has plenty to spare.
