Had me in fits of laughter - mainly because I've done similar 'oopses'! It continues that noble tradition of such stuff as wrong answers being posted to the Challenge Questions. Top marks to Kaplin for bearing with all the bantering giggles - I'll bet we all know that feeling when you realized. The whole point of 'Caption This' is having a light-hearted chuckle.

Any chance that if we vote again, Romney will win this time?

/Turns out he was right about Jeep manufacturing moving to China.

"Today, all Jeep models are produced in the United States, at assembly lines in Michigan, Illinois and Ohio. In the pre-Fiat days, however, some Jeep models destined for China were built in in Chinese plants."

"Chrysler added 1,100 workers at a Detroit factory to help meet strong demand for the Jeep Grand Cherokee."

Sergio Marchionne Said:

October 30, 2012 11:55 AM -- Chrysler Group's production plans for the Jeep brand have become the focus of public debate.

"I feel obliged to unambiguously restate our position: Jeep production will not be moved from the United States to China."

What has that got to do with the failed M. C. Escher ?

You might have a point; A lie has similarities in construction to an Escher. One would think that Jeep is on the up but it's only an illusion. Recognition of the delusion comes when you want to replicate it in the real world. Even China can't do that .

I liked the past comments stating a fear of Daleks was the reason for the stairs.

I suppose maintenance could have been annoyed by having to constantly drag a ladder around to change a troublesome light bulb. Replacing the fixture might have been more economical, but the stairs made the job easier and no jobs were lost.

Why not?

This might be Kaplin's idea of April fool's joking around with us, but it's only late January for most of us. Too soon.

To Kaplin - If all else fails to explain this brain fart - then you can, and you are legally able to blame it upon the broad shoulders of your assistant, secretary, wife, girlfriend or significant other, if this winds up in a prolonged, overly exposed by the media, and very expensive litigation court battle.

Hopefully, it won't come close to that, and we can all amicably settle out of court, and finally place this very untimely, unfortunate and horrible mess behind us, and then, with Providence, as well as Divine Guidance, to be able to continue with our lives, with whatever the Goodness of His/Hers/It's benefits and long, happy, healthy, wealthy, and fruitfull lives to be graciously bestowed and appreciated upon all our poor souls.

I''ll have my people contact your people, shortly.

This kind of reminds me of the old 'Sesame Street', where you have to subjectively discern 'Which of these things is NOT like the other - Which of these things just doesn't belong?..........)

Both depictions of this stairs/hallway should be placed side by side, in order to pick out any differences between them, as in the back pages of the newspapers, in the kiddies pages, to hopefully further develop their meager, but yet eager developing gray brain matter.

Loupy;

I can see it all now! It is an observation point to watch the women trying to get up through the glass ceiling and onto the stairway up to the corner office. Alas, the glass is just too thick.

Ok, we built a "Pool Hall" but do we flood this side or the other side. And I still don't see how the doors to the pool hall will work.

Maybe we should start this project over?
