Tired of waiting for the driverless car project to be completed, Bubba and Billie Jo decide to implement their own plan in South Georgia. The only problem is they can't find someone to be in the lead so they keep going in circles.

That is the lane for blind drivers only. This new concept is to have a plastic pipe installed all along the lane at window level with embedded Braille messages about where you are and where you turn off to get to where you want to go. All you have to do is slide your hand along the pipe which also will give you feed back as to your lane position. All autos must have the new braking system that automatically brakes when you get too close to the car in front. Pretty straightforward!

Still have to figure out a way to make a right turn though.

New Tesla battery recharging system being tested by drivers (who are texting with other hand) in the UK - they are still driving on the wrong side there? There is always a mad dash for the right-most lane. Original plans called for cat fur at the point of contact, but some bow maker (who declined an interview) protested loudly.

We are happy to report no cats were skinned in the filming of this Tesla event. A few British onlookers did seem puzzled by the lack of cross walks. One dog with a red and white Santa Claus stocking cap was seen roaming the streets looking for the semi-dazed owner.

Stopping is the big thing on these rigs. They've developed impact braking systems where the rig stops when it hits something.

What I keep wondering about is where are the ends of this black cable/pipe off of the picture? If these are the only two vehicles involved in this circus demonstration then a ballpark approximation of catenary curves implies to me that the front cable end could be just a foot or almost a full car length ahead of the first car.

At the very least it seems the lead car does have their warning flashers ON.
