A well known Pizza company had a dilemma from bad printing. It was meant to say "Do not Snack".

Now they have to train their staff to NOT follow the insructions to maintain on time delivery.

"Okay, where are we to store that many boxes on this floor??? We have to find a stacking limit guys. Start stacking them Fred, and Jim, you got good ears, listen for a sound of breaking."

"Okay at 2 boxes"

"Okay at three boxes"

and so on to 27 boxes.

"That's the limit guys."

I apologise to the entire 1 + billion population I have just offended - I hope their sense of humour matches their hospitality and genorosity of spirit. Anybody offended can join me for a meal.

Could not find the original link, but it's damn funny. Lest any body misunderstand, it's very much Brit humour to rip on each other. A very good American mate was once unsure when I asked if a Vermeer was painted by somebody else. Mona Lisa can easily be confused with that chick with earing..

Enclosing is a photograph of R&D results on the warehouse storagearea; it is our opinion that the customer be advised of extra cost, should they not agree with our findings, that there package labelling, is in error.

Don't worry about the rusty screws holding the window box up. rust is stronger than iron, right? Right?

(The 'Mr. Safety' side of my personality ran screaming at the sight of this photo, leaving the 'Mad Scientist' side to handle the response.)

(Some of these photos deserve their own 'caption this' thread. Why are we wasting them in sarcastic replies? Oh, wait, we're Engineers; Sarcasm is our primary output.)
