As Usbport was driving down the freeway, his car phone rang. Answering, he heard his wife's voice urgently warning him, "Usbport, I just heard on the news that there's a car going the wrong way on 280 Interstate. Please be careful!"

As someone who acquired his full class A CDL a short while ago I can asure you they are getting out of control on the requirements as to how well you can back your truck up and maintain control.

This guy is just doing the 'Backing at 75 MPH in a strait line' part of the exam.

You should see the '45 MPH 90 degree loading dock manuver' that comes next! (Its how UPS and FedEx drivers get your package to the back of their trucks so they can unload them faster.)

Just call me a jerk now...

So I was driving with some people on a long road trip. Most of my passengers were asleep. A tow truck was hauling a semi backwards in front of me.

I pulled up right behind the semi and blew my horn and shouted. All my passengers awoke, screamed and proceeded to beat me for the next 500 miles.

I still laugh about it. Worth every punch.

If you haven't already done so, flip on your left turn signal. Then swerve decisively and visibly into your left lane. The starboard-to-starboard pass is less desirable, but it works if intentions are clear.

If, just after you do this, the semi displays a right signal, then you are in totentanz. Go for one shoulder or the other, I guess. Or just bail into the grass.

The Driver in the photo is a Mr. Marc Jacobs. Mr Jacobs is quite possibly the worlds most highly skilled truck driver.

In the photo above Mr. Jacobs is seen driving in reverse between destinations.

He says he can save up to an hour of his customers time each day by simply avoiding all of those time consuming turn arounds.

When the government decided to switch from driving on the right to driving on the left, it was thoght to be better to stage the change over and have the commercial vehicles change over on the 1st of the month and the private cars change over one week later.

Poor George, being out of work for the last year and a half, and with a family to support and putting a roof over their heads and food in their bellies, he finally decides to take the only opening currently available - as a live crash test dummie!

He's just praying that the air bag deploys, and his life insurance policy and medical plans are paid up in full.
