Ah, now, no, that's not actually a problem...
That's one of those angled units designed to fit under the staircase.
We've fitted it like that in accordance with paragraph 3 of the schedule... I E-mailed it over last night.
It allows retrofitting of an extra staircase... it's all the rage these days

How typical home improvements things go for me when I let my wife be the project manager.

In this case the debate between where the screws go, structurally relevant VS cosmetically nice, proved itself out in the end.

Did I ever tell you about the time I cut my thumb down to the bone and a third of the way off doing something her way?

The cabinet is fine, but it is inadvisable to install cabinets while your house is sliding into a sinkhole.

Husband doesn't read instructions when installing cabinets.

Cabinets fall apart.

Husband blames wife for stacking too many Ziploc Bags where they shouldn't be stored.

Bill (a.k.a. Dollar Bill) Wreckler is such a tight wad, He always try's to save a buck.

Here he Hired 'Two Boy's and a Hammer' cabinet makers for some cabinet work.

The unfinished cabinet-work is NOT the "problem" here...!

It is the bowl-o-food ready to fall on the floor and get slipped-on, causing brain trauma after the fall... followed by the ceramic-ware ready to cause similar injury when IT falls forward onto "Little Lisa's" head... not-to-mention the broom stored in unacceptable "trip-hazard" fashion. (etc, etc)

Now ... NOW that we are on the right track ... What ELSE is wrong with this picture?
