After countless failed attempts to sell his idea for the DAS valve to the engineering forums he finally gave up and changed his business direction to making the DAS electric scissors. Engineers are still skeptical of the design though.

He replaced the fuse with a thermal cut-off for added safety...

Or is it now a breaker with isolated handle?

-At least it's better than a copper penny put in behind the plug fuse, as I've seen done before! _{In this case, it may have been a penny farthing.}
