Where can I buy these?

My mechanic said my car needed new muffler bearings installed. When I told him I'd do it myself, he told me I'd need a left handed crescent wrench, but I hadn't been able to find one.

Ikea does a left-handed Allen/hex key, apparently. There's plenty going at the local store following the recent product recall. Nice cheap price? ;-)

Here is how you can tighten it "finger tight" without wrenching you hand.

Hey, throw me a wrench.

What size?

Don't matter, I'm gonna use it as a hammer.

Finally!

A proper vernier for farming! If the nut fits in here it is the correct size.

Very cool and creepy.

I still think its simply wrong to keep producing such tools after one of the workers was accidentally 3-D scanned and then 3-D Printed.......The Union will roast us!!!

Re: Caption This for 4/8/16

Creepy really. I vaguely recall from reading a sci-fi story 50 odd years ago, of an advanced society (only technically to my mind) where mutants were being 'grown' with in-built physical extensions and abilities specially for manufacturing things without needing 'other' tools - a multi-limbed freak I would say.

But then again, how many times have you said " I could do with another pair of hands"

From the other end of the scale you could say modern computer driven robotics evolving with AI to become self-producing exactly adapted to survive.

If it hasn't been done already, wouldn't a working set of die-cast (plastic/miniatures ?) of these be a good (graduation/novelty) gift for newly-minted (mechanical engineers/others) in recognition of all their (hands-on) experience gained so far ?...
